"Illinois Young Men Have Fatal Duel At Springfield."
"Springfield, Illinois, July 29...Two young men, named John Neidefer and Will Harmison of Todds Point, Shelby County who have been paying attnetion to the same young lady, met today on the road. Harmison was accompanied by his brother. The two Harmisons attacked Heidefer who defended himself with a knife and stabbed Will Harmison just over the heart, inflicting injuries which will prove fatal. All are prominent in the area."
