DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with George by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with George:

I am not well-versed in citing European origins, especially when current territorial boundaries differ from those at the relevant time of a historical citation (e.g., places in non-existent Germany/Bayern/Baden-Wuerttemberg in 1710), including places that have names that are spelled with diacritical markings in current and older German language. Please, may someone who has mastered this art of bridging time consider (and fix) the spelling of birthplace of Hermann-329 and share that insight? See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_Franconia (and similar references). My interest in mastering this type citation is high; my maternal grandfather was Harmon-3678, born in Dutch Fork South Carolina USA. Vieldank! (s/Tom Tolbert-301)
