Biography

When Abraham Harman was born in 1767 in Botetourt, Virginia, his father, Matthias, was 28 and his mother, Mary, was 23. He had many brothers and sisters.

  • The 1810 census has him in Hertford, North Carolina [1]
  • In 1812 he was in Indiana[2]
  • He can be found in the1820 and 1830 census' in Harrison, Indiana [3][4]
  • He died on March 31, 1837, in Spencer, Indiana, at the age of 70, and was buried in Depauw, Indiana. [5]
