Sergeant Josiah Harmon served with 16th Massachusetts Regiment (1780), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Josiah Harmon was born on 5 November 1759 in Scarborough, Maine[1].

He married Anna Moulton on 27 September 1785[2]. They had ten children, all born in Standish, Maine

Josiah enlisted in the army on 5 September 1777 as a fifer in Boston. He was discharged at Orangetown, New Jersey, on 16 August 1780[1].

Josiah passed away on 10 May 1845[3][4] in Corinna, Maine.
