Biography

Edgar is buried at East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia, Tuscarowas County, Ohio.

His brother, Charles Arthur Harmon, is thought to have perished in a flood in Ohio: photos on each of the brother's pages on Find A Grave show a great physical likeness, so the relationship seems accurate, and they are close in age: did they both migrate together to Ohio, perhaps in search of work (canal building in particular was bustling in that area during this era of their lives, and employment in their home county of Floyd in Virginia was mostly limited to farming.)
