Biography
Lewis was born after 1847. He was the son of David Harness and Isabella Turner. In the 1850 census Lewis (age 2) was in Center, Buchanan, Missouri, United States.[1] In the 1860 census Lewis (age 13) was in Center, Buchanan, Missouri.[2]
Louis (age 22) married Nancy C Garner on 23 January 1870 in Doniphan, Kansas, United States.[3] In the 1870 census Lewis (age 23), Farm Laborer, was in Iowa, Doniphan, Kansas.[4] In the 1875 census Louis (age 27) was in Iowa, Doniphan, Kansas.[5] In the 1880 census Lewis (age 37), Grocer, was the married head of household in Iowa Point, Doniphan, Kansas, United States.[6]
Lewis died on 3 March 1885 and was buried in Highland, Doniphan County, Kansas, United States.[7]
