Mabel was born in 1888, the daughter of Jeremiah Harrell and Emma Deason.^[1]

In 1904, she married E. E. Griffith in Rusk County, Texas. ^[2]

She passed away in 1962 and is buried at Zion Hill Cemetery, Henderson, Texas. ^[3]
