Biography
From W. McMillian Walker:
"In 1977, I reviewed the Bible record of my aunt Mary Belle Walker Webb, which listed "Annie Rawlins, b. 1815, d. Feb. 7, 1899" and "Mathis Rawlins, b. 1810, d. Apr. 15, 1875" as grandparents of John Matthew Walker. Oddly, those records apparently didn't include anything on her "Walker" grandfather and greatgrandfather; there is some chance I didn't copy those records, or they were on another misplaced sheet, but I doubt it.
According to Addie Garrison Briggs, in her book "They Don't Make People Like They Used To", p. 94, Mary (Sis) Rawlins, b. abt. 1839, (dau. of Mathis Rawlins & Joanna Harrell) m. "Joseph Walker"" [1]
According to Mary Catherine Rawlins' death certificate, Annie Harrell was born in Telfair Co.
