Married Elizabeth Watkins, (dau of James Watkins and Mary Eggleston) on 16 Apr 1795 in Washington Co Ky. They had 10 children:

Married second, Nancy Alsop (Alsup) on 15, Aug 1831 in Jackson Co. Indiana
He passed away in 1850.
