John Harrington^[1] was born on December 14, 1719, in Watertown, MIddlesex, Massachusetts^[2]. He was the son of George and Hepzibah (Fiske) Harrington^[3]. John married Sarah Barnard on November 13, 1740, in Waltham, MIddlesex, Massachusetts^[4]. They had eight children^[5]:
