How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.
Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

Hi Norma, Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree.
You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.
Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so dont forget to read and sign our Honor Code. This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community. We have many friendly members, feel free to ask if you have any questions.
Norma Harris here -- self-taught Ancestry.com member now trying to expand my toolbox. So happy to find Wikitree; nine rules strike me as practical and necessary. I am spending most of my time these days trying to follow the lines of GGGrandfather Nehemiah Harris (b.1734 in either Ireland or Virginia) and GGrandfather William James Porter (b.1849 in Alabama). Have ranged far and wide following my ancestors and POSSIBLE ancestors and happy to share. Without collaboration we can achieve nothing!
I'm just checking in with you to see how your experience is going on Wikitree. If you would like to enjoy the benefits of being a full member you should click the volunteer link and then leave us a message here letting us know. If you're just taking a look around then enjoy! Have you checked to see if you already have family on WikiTree? Try our Surname Search! Please be sure to confirm your email address. Let me know if you have any questions ~Terry~
To give you an idea on how WikiTree works, we have an introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
If you decide you would like to join our collaborative genealogy community, please read the Honor Code, post a comment here on your profile and we would be glad to add you to our wikitree community.
