She passed away May 7, 1943 in Wilson County, Tennessee. ^[1] Cenie was laid to rest in Leeville Cemetery, Leeville, Wilson County, Tennessee, United States. ^[3]

Her husband passed away February 6, 1967 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. ^[4]
