Alice (Harris) Gransden was born in Tonbridge, Kent, England.

Name at birth: Alice Harris or Harrys. She was the widow of Walter Hatcher when she married Henry Gransden.

Alice was born in 1577 in Tonbridge, Kent, England to parents Nicolas Harrys or Harris (b. 1550 in Kent) and Alice Thatcher (b. 1554 in Tonbridge, Kent). She was christened on 21 Dec 1579 in ST Mary Mounthaw, London, England.^[1]

She married firstly Walter Hatcher on 10 Jun 1599 in Tonbridge, Kent, England.^[2]

After Walter died in 1606 she married secondly Henry Gransden on 12 Jun 1609 in Tonbridge, Kent, England.^[3][4]

Alice died in Sep 1645 in Westminster, Cloisters, London, England, and was buried on 10 Sep 1645 in Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England.^[5][6] " Letters of administration to the estate of Alice Gransden, late of Westminster, were granted on Sept. 23, 1645 by the Court of the Dean and Chapter of Westminster to her daughter Mary Goodwyn."
