Biography

Alta Harriss was enumerated as daughter of the head of household in Justice Precinct 7, Gregg County, Texas for the June 2, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born December 1888 in Texas and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Thomas B Harriss, wife Willie A Harriss, daughter Vannie Harriss, daughter Clara Harriss, son Thomas B Harriss, daughter Ida D Harriss, son Benjamin F Harriss and father-in-law Samuel M Little.[1]
