Other Relations:

The file over at Family Search Family Trees states the following members of his family:

  1. Ann HALL (Born: About 1816)
  2. James A. HALL (Born: About 1818)
  3. William H. HALL (Born: About 1820)

If these were his children, then due to the date on the marriage between Thomas Hartley HALL and Harriett Eliza HARRIS, several questions can be asked.

  1. Was Harriett Eliza HARRIS the mother of these children?
  2. Was Thomas Hartley HALL the father of these children?
  3. Were these children illegitimate children or children from a previous marriage of either Thomas Hartley HALL or Harriett Eliza HALL?
  4. Were they possibly younger siblings or some other relationship (say cousins) of either parent and are just labeled incorrectly on the Family Tree listed at FamilySearch?
  5. Were these three children the unidentified children that showed in the 1840 U. S. Census record, but were not listed in the 1830 U. S. Census listing? If so is it possible they were adopted children?
