Biography

Edna Higginbotham, 85, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, March 26,1994, in a local hospital. Mrs. Higginbotham was born Sept. 26, 1908, in Texarkana. She was retired from Arkansas Revenue Office and Baptist.

Survivors include one son, Rufus Higginbotham of North Little Rock, Ark.; one daughter, Jane Starks of Texarkana; one brother, James Harris of Texarkana; two sisters, Maudie Chapman and Mittie Brock of Texarkana; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in East Memorial Gardens with the Rev. David Crooks officiating. Burial will be under direction of East Funeral Home. The family will be at 3 Embassy Lane, Texarkana, Ark.
