Triangulation Effort is underway. Seeking a triangulation group. The first two legs of a triangulation to Alexander Underwood and Jane Harris is established. Descendants Reba Duckett Mahaney T528972 and Larry Stephenson share three statistically significant segments of autosomal DNA:
1- An 8.8 cM segment on chromosome 1, from 242,450,461 to 245,683,659
2- A 30.3 cM segment on chromosome 5, from 26,329,557 to 64,561,227
3- An 18 cM segment on chromosome 5, from 99,058,528 to 121,046,449
Seeking another cousin with a distance of third cousin or further to complete this triangulation. Note that Reba's siblings and children also match to Larry.
If you are a descendant of Alexander Underwood and Jane Harry, please consider adding your GEDmatch kit number for triangulation study. Thank you.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jane by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jane:
Harris-41356 and Harris-4461 appear to represent the same person because: this is the same person, I've found her under surname Underwood and updated her to nee Harris.
Rather than make this an unmerged match, I rejected it for the time being. With the merge done today for Joseph (Underwood-192) having selecting the wrong mother, there now needs attention to all the profiles for children of Rev Alexander (Underwood-185) and his wife Jane (Harris-4461). We have several duplicates, some half-children, and a grandchild or two who need sorting. Anyone want to suggest the solution that will be correct but have the least amount of work involved??
This confusing of Mary Jane Underhill who married the grandson (Underwood-3831) with Jane Harry (Harris-4461) who married (Underwood-185) was sorted and corrected before, but now needs to be redone with some notes along with the sources to keep it from happening again. The research and sources are on (Underwood-185). I'm not sure how or if some these duplicates should be connected to or merged with the profile for Mary (Underhill) Underwood (Underhill-1217) who actually did marry Alexander (Underwood-3831)
Loretta would you , Glenn or Beth want to suggest which way we should go? I would just like to find the least time consuming way to fix these.
Since the merge for Underwood-192 already went through, I don't think it can be rolled back. The wrong mother can be corrected by replacing her with Harris-4461who is correct.
shows a deed
Underwood, Alexander and spouse Jane residents of London Grove for property in London Grove William Boyd Seller (Grantor) Deed in 1742, Book G p 395
This is all the information in the index. Can someone locate the actual deed which would give more information and at least establish that Jane was still living in 1742.
