Birth: Elizabeth Ann Harris was born on 2 November 1698. She was Christened on 27 November 1698 St Paul's Parish, New Kent, Virginia (became Hanover County in 1720).[1]
Death: About 1733 Hanover, Hanover, Colony of Virginia
Marriage Date: About 1714 in New Kent Co., Virginia
Elizabeth Ann was born in 1698 so she couldn’t have reasonably had children until 1714 as women were not married before age 15/16.
That eliminates the first two (on Lists on Ancestry Profiles):
Mary Hudson [Hudson-1083] (1692 - 1760)
Elizabeth Hudson [Hudson-1088] (1705 - )
Also, there are no Rebeccas, Annas or Sarahs on the original list (but these names may have been a "middle" name).
According to Ancestry's lists, Elizabeth Ann Hudson had kept having children about one a year from 1714 until 1726 when she had two, in 1727 she had three and again in 1732 she had two with one in 1728 and another in 1730. A final two, born in 1769 and 1833 are beyond reason.
NOTE: This Numbered List is of those 10 children mentioned in the original GEDCOM imported list.
George Hudson [Hudson-214] (1714 - April 14, 1773)
Christopher Hudson [Hudson-209] (1716 - October 17, 1779) [this conflicts with a son by the same name born in 1738 but as she died ca. 1733, the latter was by other parents].
John Hudson [Hudson-217] (1717 - 1801) [this conflicts with a boy by the same name born in 1727 below].
William Hudson [Hudson-224] (1719 - April 21, 1800) [this conflicts with a son by the same name born in 1727 on the "Extra" list]
Charles Hudson [Hudson-208] (1720 - 1783)
Thomas Hudson [Hudson-466] (1721 - February 7, 1805) Merged with a Thomas, said to be b: 1719.
David Hudson [Hudson-211] (1723 - April 9, 1787)
Mary [Hudson-219] Bunch (1726 - January 31, 1792)
John Hudson [Hudson-453] (1727 - ?)
Cuthbert Hudson [Hudson-210] (1732 - April 20, 1801)
"Extra" Children not on original GEDCOM list of 10 Children:
Sarah Hudson [Hudson-1151] (1724 - )
Anna Hudson [Hudson-459] (1725 - ) [Did she die before 1732 when another daughter with same name was born? or is this another problem like the son above?]
Rebecca Hudson [Hudson-458] (1726 - )
Elizabeth Hudson [Hudson-463] (1727 - ?)
William Hudson [Hudson-468] (1727 - ?)
Rebecca Hudson [Hudson-1157] (1728 - November 7, 1823)
Elizabeth Hudson [Hudson-213] (1730 - November 7, 1823)
Anna Hudson [Hudson-1136] (1732 - November 7, 1823)
Born too late to be her children:
Christopher Hudson [Hudson-1107] (1738 - 1825)
Elizabeth Hudson [Hudson-1130] (1769 - 1832)
George Hudson [Hudson-1111] (1833 - )
Research Notes
Several online Harris researchers are unsure of if Elizabeth was the daughter of William Harris and Temperance Overton, or of another William Harris and his wife Mary Giles. I have disconnected any parents pending firm evidence in favor of either. E. Breen 22:04, 29 August 2013 (EDT)
NOTE: FamilySearch consensus seems to be in favor of Harris-2638 and Overton-28 so I am re-attaching them but marking "Uncertain". Chet Snow, 23 Nov 2019.
