Biography

When Sarah A E "Sadie" Harris was born in 1844 in Jefferson, Tennessee, her father, Caleb, was 35, and her mother, Harriet, was 22. She married John Summerfield Broyles on May 23, 1861, in Washington, Tennessee. They had one child during their marriage. She died as a young mother in 1871 in Georgia at the age of 27.
