Born in Bristol England in 1937. Schooling at Hannah More Primary School until age 11. Senior School at Clark's College until Age 15. Apprenticeship with Bristol Aeroplane Company as a toolmaker from age 16 to 21. National Service with Gloucestershire Regiment as an infantry signaller rank corporal. Emigrated to New Zealand in 1964. Returned to UK in 1966. Emigrated to South Africa in 1967 . Married in Durban South Africa 1968. Wife a New Zealand citizen. Moved with family to Malawi in 1972 on a fixed term contract. Moved back to New Zealand in 1974. Now a New Zealand Citizen. I have been researching my own and my wife's families for about 10 years. I also run a course with SeniorNet on using computers for family research.
