Mary S. Harris was born October 20, 1740^[1] to Daniel Harris and March Hutchin in Hanover, Virginia. Her father, Daniel was the son of John of Hanover County. Her mother, Mary was the daughter of Nicholas. They were married on October 14, 1729. Their children were:
