This Robert Harris was of a different Haplo Blood group as the Isle of Wight/Charles City Harris line and therfore cannot have any common make Harris ancestors within tens of thousands of years. Sgt John's son Robert Harris d1665 in Isle of Wight widower of Mary Jane Crump as documented in two John Brayton books,, "The Descendants of Robert Harris of Isle of Wight" 2001 and "The Descendants of Capt John Jennings of Isle of Wight County Virginia" who was the Isle of Wight County Clrk who married Robert's daughter Martha Harris.

DNA has proven that this Maj Robert Harris would not possibly be related to the Charles City Harris family. yDNA from his living direct male Harris descendants show that they come from a different Haplo Blood type as do the descendants of Sgt John Harris and therefore could not be related nor have had any common direct male Harris ancestor within thousands of years.
