Her death was sometime after 11 April 1782, the date of her husband Jabez "Rowlee" 's will. He died that day or the next; his inventory was done April 1. His will stated they lived in Kent [Litchfield County]; his inventory included a house and land. His will left all his property to his "beloved wife Tabatha", instructing her to give 5 shillings to each of his children, or heirs if deceased, without naming them. One may conclude, then, that Tabitha was living as of that date.[4]

Barbour Collection for Kent has no death record for Tabitha Rowley; no record found in americanancestors.org, FamilySearch.org, or ancestry.com as of 27 June, 2017.
Tabitha had three sisters born in Lyme; Sarah (17 February 1704/5); Easter (11 August 1706); and Thankfull (27 February 1707/8).[5]
