Dora Bridget Thompson[2] wrote in her life story:
Con was another first cousin of Grandfather's along with Effie, Molly Kelsey, Edith Bousfield, a rich widow who lived at Warborough on the Thames and Florence the youngest sister [actually the youngest sister was Constance] who had always been in love with Uncle Edward. She never married. They were a most attractive family all of them except old Effie who few people really liked. There were also two brothers, Ned and Jack who was the swimmer. Aunt Edith was sweet but funny over her boats. She had a boat house full of every kind of river boat but if you stayed there, you were never allowed to take any of them on the river. We used to swim from the boat house. Aunt Peg [Peggy Drew was a close school friend of Dora Bridget Thompson] came into the story then as she got to know all the Warborough cousins very well and went over there a lot from Benson where they went to live after leaving Shrewsbury.
