Biography

John was born in 1826 in Kentucky. He was the son of John Harris and Nancy Haden. On 19 Jun 1853 in Polk County, OR, he married Cinderellar Smith. They had five known children. They fist moved to Oregon then to Washington State. After Cinderellar died he moved back to Oregon to live with daughter Minnie & her family. He had worked in farming throughout his life. It was in Douglas County, OR he passed away in 1923. He is buried at the Myrtle Creek IOOF Cemetery in Douglas County, OR.
