Ann Harris was the daughter of John Harris and Elizabeth Turgis. Her father made a Will on 8 February 1692/3, mentioning an unborn child, who was probably Ann.[1]Her mother married second John Alston.
She married Henry Livingston on 2 September 1726 in Charles Town, Province of South Carolina.[2] He died about 1727, leaving her a tract of land in St. Thomas and St. Denis Parish, which he had purchased from her brother John Alston.[3]
Ann Livingston made her Will on 16 May 1732, and it was ordered to be examined on 8 June 1732. She made bequests to the vestry of the parish of St. John [Berkeley] and to two goddaughters, with a residuary bequest to her brother John Allstone. The primary beneficiaries were her sons-in-law [stepsons] Henry and William Livingston, both under the age of 21.[4]
