Wife Mary died between 1702 and the date Isaac died, January 22, 1706/7. [2]
On 7 March 1706/07, his sons-in-law, John Kingman, and Peleliah Smith were granted the letter of administration on his estate. Isaac's daughter Mercy made the choice of her brother-in-law, Peleliah Smith as her guardian.[3]
In 1708, his land was appraised. In 1709, the settlement was to Isaac (eldest son), Desire Kingman, Jane Smith, wife of Palatiah Smith, Susanna Ruland, Benjamin (youngest son), Mary, and Martha.[4]
In 1707, his wife's brother Peter Dunbar was appointed guardian to her children, Benjamin and Martha, who were under the age of seven.[5]
It is possible that Isaac had an illegitimate son, Thomas. See the article in the NEHGR for a complete discussion of this family.[2]
Son Benjamin was in Hingham in 1724 and went to Taunton MA. Son Samuel was born before 1685, and daughter Susannah was born before 1680. Mary was born before 1690.
