Michael was born about 1771. Michael Harrison was either working with Jane and John Wheatley on Frame knitting or was a Soldier during this turbulent wearing with Europe. He married Jane Wheatley on 25/7/1801 at St Mary's church ( Cathedral) in Lace Street , Nottingham [1] when he was about 30 yrs old. His First child was born around November and Baptised 4/12/1801 at St Mary's Church. His little Daughter, Mary was born around August and baptised 12/8/1804 at St Mary's George his second son was born in October to be baptised 29/10/1806 at St Mary's Church. Then there was a gap in the children's births while maybe he was away fighting battles!! Home again in 1813, his little son Samuel arrived about November to be Baptised December 1, 1813 in St Mary's His stay seemed short lived- did he return to the front ad killed, Did he die in a frame accident or from wounds. He met his demise leaving Jane when the industrial Revolution was taking toll on Cottage industry too. Little Samuel died on September 1814 and Jane may have been Grieving both losses. Not a happy situation but by March 13,1815 Jane married again as a widow!. She had already struck an alliance with Francis Jones( Getleman). [2]
