Thomas Harrison of Stafford County, Virginia was born March 3, 1723[1] to Burr and Ann (Barnes) Harrison.[2]
Burr Harrison of Prince William County (born May 21, 1699; died October 18, 1790) was the son of Thomas Harrison. On July 31, 1722, he married Ann, daughter of Matthew Barnes of Maryland. Thomas was their firstborn child.[3][4]
Thomas Harrison married Ann Waye, daughter of John Peyton, on July 2, 1747[5][6][7] in Overwharton Parish, Stafford County.[8] Two sons, John Peyton Harrison and Valentine Harrison, were named in the will of Ann's father, John Peyton.[9]
Anne Waye Peyton (c1731-1756), daughter of John Peyton, H Line, #H-2 in Peytons of Virginia II, Volume Two, page 430: married Thomas Harrison, 2 July 1747, Overwharton Parish, Stafford County, Virginia and had four children:[15]
↑ oddly, their son Burr married Mary Ann, daughter of Matthew Barnes, in September 1760, according to account on p 98... something off?

↑p 444, other children listed do not have such solid proof
↑p 99 says he married (1) Frances, daughter of John Peyton and (2) Elizabeth, daughter of Yelverton Peyton (citing Hayden)
↑ had been listed, p 444, citing "(Hayden, but without giving authority)" ; p 99 shows Dr. Daniel Harrison as a son of John Peyton Harrison & a correction: "Dr. Daniel Harrison was not a son of [this Thomas Harrison] as previously stated."
↑ profile detached as son of Thomas (d 1756) and Anne Waye Peyton (died 1751); profile for Cuthbert shows birth in 1757.
↑ profile detached as daughter of Thomas (d 1756) and Anne Waye Peyton (died 1751); profile for Frances shows birth in 1759
↑ Since creating the bio listing his children, a profile for a daughter Anna has been attached. Both Frances and Anna, according to their WikiTree profiles, were born well after their father died (acccording to the death date in his profile). [citation needed] for all three dates. Death date for Thomas is omitted from source (p 444) that says Elizabeth, Seth, Cuthbert, and Frances are his children, from an "account, evidently by one who was well informed".

If the death date on this profile (February 1756) is correct, then the surmise in this book (see page 106) is wrong & the Reverend Thomas Harrison who died (probably) 1802 was not born 1723. I would suppose that Thomas born 1723 was this Thomas's father. Noland-165 21:52, 4 October 2014 (EDT)

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Thomas by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Thomas:
source that says Elizabeth, Seth, Cuthbert, and Frances are his children, from an "account, evidently by one who was well informed" - page 444 - omits a death date for Thomas.
