Accoring to the 1911 census of England, James Harrison … son of Pearson Harrison and his wife Mary Jane "Jenny" Briggs … was born at Darlington in Durham, England about 1901.[1]
James emigrated to New Zealand about 1926 and settled in Auckland. Two years later he married Ella Alberta "Mick" Johnson there …

On 4th January 1934 James died at Auckland Public Hospital at the age of 32. The following day he was buried at the Waikumete Cemetery.[2]
James was employed as an engineer. He and Mick had no children.
