Spouse: Elizabeth Hall. Elizabeth Hall and Richard Harrison were married in 1708 in Maryland. Spouse: Hannah Norris. Hannah Norris and Richard Harrison were married in PA." (2a) 1698, 4 May: Alice SMITH wrote her will. Leaves to grandchildren Sarah, Lena and Mary HARRIS and Richard HARRIS 5 lbs. sterling each. [NOTE: Could the grandchildren named HARRIS in the transcript of this will be HARRISON?] (3) The brigantine "Betty" out of South River was owned by Capt. Richard HILL and Mordecai MOORE of South River, William HOLLAND, Richard JOHNS, Samuel CHEW, Richard HARRISON and Nehemiah BIRKHEAD of Herring Bay, and William COALE of West River, all of whom were Friends. (5a) 1713, 10 Sep: Richard HARRISON of Calvert Co., MD made his will. Gave to grandson Richard LANE and heirs, at decease of wife aforesaid, lands devised her, and 96 1/2 acres, part of "Birckhead's Lott," 100 acres, "Gramer's Chance." To wife1/3 of residue; balance to be divided between son Samuell, executor, and son Richard and their heirs. (3) ca. 1725: Sold his inheritance and removed to Philadelphia. (3) 1726: At a Meeting of the Society of Friends in the home of Samuel CHEW, Richard HARRISON asked the Herring Creek Meeting for a recommendation of good standing as he desired to leave for PA. Samuel GOVER and Isaac JOHNS were appointed a committee to draw the necessary document.

Richard Harrison was born on 3 February 1686 in Maryland. He died on 8 May 1747 at the age of 61 in Maryland. He was buried in PA. Parents: Richard Harrison and Elizabeth Smith.

Harrison-6094 and Harrison-2486 appear to represent the same person because: same parents, no records/sources for birth, just an estimate
