17 Sep 1772 - Marriage agreement between Arthur Harrison of Dinwiddie County and Joaney Owen of Brunswick County. Arthur Harrison posts a £2,000 bond.
“Whereas there is a marriage shortly intended to be solomnized between the above bound Arthur Harrison and the above named Jeaney Owen…”
Arthur Harrison gives up all rights, title and interest in Joaney Owens Estate. He will support and maintain Jeaney Owens present children. If Arthur Harrison and Joaney Owen have a child, that child will have an equal share of Arthur Harrison’s estate with his other children.
Wit: Elizabeth Stith, Frances Brown, Thomas Stith
Proved in Brunswick Co., VA, Court, 24 Aug 1783, “by the oath of Frances Burge formerly the said Frances Brown.”

Harrison-785 and Harrison-8614 appear to represent the same person because: Frances's marriage to Arthur Harrison is in Southside Virginian & says Arthur's birth (1720/21) is in BPR [Bristol Parish Register]. WikiTree guidelines say to use the "new style" date in old/new constructions (which his birth is... the new year started in March).
