Parents were Robert William Harrison (1854 Acle, Norfolk) and Susan (Unknown) (1866 Lowestoft).
There were actually two marriage records for George and Elsie (one in 1923 and one in 1925). From his brother's Probate Record of 1955, George was listed as a Major in His Majesty's Army. In 1923, the Adwan Rebellion in Jordan began. I believe the wedding was postponed because of the rebellion and they later married in 1925 when he returned home.
From the marriage record, Blything is a Registration District. There were 49 Civil Parishes in Blything. I do not know which parish they were living in at the time of marriage.
From the death record, Hitchin is a Registration District. There were 49 Civil Parishes in Hitchin. I do not know which parish Elsie was living in at the time of death.
