Ernest Arthur Hart was born on 10 March 1877 in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand, son of George Hart (1820–1895) and Julia Frances Kerison James (1838–1904).[1]
In the 1911 census Arthur (age 34), Private Means, was the single head of household in Hendon, Middlesex, England.[2]
Ernest died on 24 December 1948 in Whangarei, Northland, New Zealand, aged about 71.[4] He was buried in Maunu Cemetery, Whangārei, Whangārei District, Northland, New Zealand (plot: Old Portion Block 7 Plot 1965).[5]
