Biography

Beasley was born about 1764. Beasley Hart is the son of John Hart.[1]

Beasley Hart married Betty Wynn on the 28th of November 1784 in Charlotte, Virginia.[2]

John Hart, Senr. set his hand and seal to his Last Will and Testament on the 2nd day of June 1793 making a special bequest to his son Beasley Hart and to his heirs two negroes named Tally & Nancy.[1] The will was proved at a court in Charlotte County, Virginia on the 2nd day of September 1793. Charlotte County was formed in 1764 from Lunenburg County, Virginia.

A Court case recorded at a court held the 12th day of November 1796 in Lunenburg County, Virginia shows Harrison Winn, Beasley Heart and Elizabeth his wife and children of John Winn, children and legal representatives of John Winn dec'd who was the son of the last mentioned Thomas Winn deceased.[3]

The family moved to Pulaski County, Kentucky after 1796. Pulaski County, Kentucky marriages recorded that Beasley & Betsey Hart were parents of Jinney Hart, who married John Saint Clare in the 22nd of April 1813.[4] Also, the marriage of Polly Hart to Nathaniel Sullivan on the 9th of January 1816 recorded by consent of Elizabeth Hart.[4]

The 1820 Census for Pulaski County, Somerset enumerated the household of Beazley Hart with:

one male age 10 to 16, one male age 16 to 26, one male over age 45,
one female age 16 to 26, one female age over age 45[5]

He passed away after 1820. [6]
