Mr. Otho "Pete" Hart Jr. age 76 of Southport died Wednesday June 29, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Hart was born in Brunswick County on April 25, 1935 and was the son of the late Otho Hart Sr. and Irene Varnam Hart. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte "Mickey" Hart, son, Arthur Hart and daughter, Charlotte Hart. He was a marine firefighter with Sunny Point for 12 years and worked for the Cape Fear Marine Pilots Association for 19 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by a brother, Glenn Hart of Southport; a sister, Linda Rollins of Southport; nieces, Jessica Rollins, Jennifer Bridgers, Amy Hary; nephews, Thomas B. Gilbert V, Christopher Gilbert.
In according to Pete's wishes no services or visitation will be held.
