John E. Harter, 47, of Englewood in Montgomery county, Ohio, brother of Creston Harter, of Union City, died Saturday afternoon at Good Samaritan hospital in Dayton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. (EST) Tuesday at the residence and at 2:30 p. m. from the Englewood Evangelical United Brethren church. Burial will be in Greenville cemetery. Friends may call at the residence.
Besides the brother, he leaves his wife, Mrs. Helen Harter; a son, David, of Camden, S. C.; a daughter, Miss Anna Margaret Harter, of Englewood; three other brothers, Hilton, of Dayton; Harold, of Waterloo, Ia., and Donald, of Greenville, and a sister, Mrs. Ralph Study, of Dayton.
John was buried after 8 March 1947 in Greenville Cem., Greenville, Darke Co., OH.
