James Hartley was born in Yorkshire, England.

James was born in 1852. His parents were Thomas Hartley and Sarah Naylor. He was christened on 18 April 1752 at All Saints Church, Wakefield, Yorkshire. [1][2]

James married Grace Bragg on 17 November 1776 at All Saints Church, Wakefield, Yorkshire.[3]

James passed away in 1810.
