Biography

Joseph Hartley was born in about 1866 in Nelson, Lancashire, England, [1] the son of Edmund Hartley. [2]

He married Mary Elizabeth Laycock on 4 April 1885 in Holy Trinity church, Habergham Eaves, Lancashire.[2]

In 1891 he was in Burnley, Lancashire. [1]
