Levi Hartman was born on September 8, 1816 in Washington, Tennessee, United States, son of Joseph Hartman (1772–1838) and Jane Walker (1789–1850).[1]
In 1840, Levi was living in , Fayette, Indiana. [2][3]
Levi (30) married Mary Jane Rouse (18) (born before February 19, 1828 in Indiana; daughter of David J Rouse and Eliza Manson) on October 27, 1846 in Wapello Co., Iowa. Their children were:
In 1880, Levi was living in Green, Hickory. [2][4][5]
In 1900, Levi was living in Center, Hickory, Missouri. [2][4][5]
Levi died on September 20, 1900 in Hickory, aged 84. He was buried in Hermitage Cemetery, Hermitage, Hickory County, Missouri.[1]
