Working on this issue now as we have important Y-DNA info to add to this situation. Please review and let me know if this corrects the issue for you? I'll be making major corrections/additions to many of William's male descendants as the days/weeks go by. Bill Harvey

I am trying to validate Colonial Militia service by Medad Harvey Sr. He became Captain 1788 of a local Militia. This was only 5 yrs after the end of the Revolution. Medad and his family were also in the Fort Anne area of New York, during the Revolution. His son Medad and Anar Buell Harvey also settled on a veterans land allotment 1801. Circumstantial evidence indicates that Medad Harvey b. March 30, 1739 participated in the Revolution. Do you have any info?
I have a LOT of information on the OLIVER / CLOYES / HARPOLE / BONDURANT / ASBELL / NAYLOR lines, as well as other associated families. They intermarried over several generations that flirted with, but never quite managed to be incest. My father was born in Union City, and his ancestors had been there a while.
