Mehitable Haskell was born July 9, 1744 in Rochester, Plymouth, Massachusetts, the daughter of Andrew Haskell and Jane Clark. [1] She married Freeman Sears on October 22, 1761 in Hardwick, Worcester, Massachusetts,[2] and they had nine children. She died April 6, 1845 near Belchertown, Massachusetts in Greenwich, Hampshire, Massachusetts (at age 100), and she is buried in at Quabbin Park Cemetery, Ware, Hampshire, Massachusetts, Plots 2149-2.[3]
