Biography

William Haskell was born 10 November 1813 in Franklin, Massachusetts to Samuel Haskell and Elizabeth Reynolds. He married Sophronia Relief Mellen 28 August 1841 in New Salem, Massachusetts.^[1]William and Sophronia adopted Mary E. Badge, later known as Mary E. Haskell. He died 13 May 1856 at the age of 42, and was buried in the Spring Grove Cemetery, Hartford. Connecticut. ^[2] His will was probated in May 22, 1856. ^[3]
