Biography

Sgt, US Army

Virgil was born in 1915. He was the son of Claud Haskell and Mintie Barker. He was killed in action in 1944.

I found a second newspaper clipping in my parent's papers. The paper is not cited. My fathe's letter says, "Haskell's citation - Aftr reading the citation I find the story just about perfect. All the facts are there in the citation. I am sending it back to you. It will be something to keep. You know Reflected Glory etc."
