Joseph Haskell, son of William Haskell and Mary Tybbott, was born on 2 Jun 1646, in Gloucester, Massachusetts.[1][2][3][4][5] At Joseph's birth, his father, William, was 27 and his mother, Mary, was 17.
Joseph married Mary Graves on 2 Dec 1674 or 1675 in Gloucester, Massachusetts.[1][2][6] Joseph and Mary had the following children:[4][5]
Joseph was made freeman in 1684,[3] was a deacon of the First Church and, upon its formation, was chosen Deacon of the Second Church of Gloucester.[2][4]
Joseph died on 12 Nov 1727 in Gloucester, Massachusetts, having lived a long life of 81 years,[1][2][5][7][8] and was buried at the Second Parish Cemetery in West Gloucester, Essex Co., Massachusetts.[3][4][9]
