Biography

John Haskins was born in about 1774 in Shaftsbury, Bennington County, Vermont. John is the son of Anthony Haskins and Rhoda Goodrich.

Reverend Haskins marries to Sarah "Sally" Wood in about 1796. Sarah was born about 1777 in Vermont and dies in Dane County, Wisconsin.

Reverend John Haskins died on September 4, 1828 at Ellery, Chautauqua County, New York and is buried at the Lewis Cemetery.

After John's death, Sally moves to live with her son Samuel in Oregon. Sally dies in 1851 in Wisconsin, Dane County, Oregon, USA.

Children of John Haskins and Sally Wood are:

1. Hannah Haskins was born in about 1797 in New York. She marries to John Serles.

2. John Haskins was born in about 1806 in New York.

3. Samuel Wood Haskins was born in about 1803 in Sheldon, Vermont. Samuel married to Susannah Lincoln Wilbur. He dies in about 1876 in Wisconsin, Dane County, Oregon.

4. Sally Haskins was born in about 1803. Sally marries to Ira Langworthy. She dies on February 17, 1880 .

5. Ira Haskins was born in about 1808.

6. Margaret "Maggie" Haskins was born in about 1810 in New York. Margaret married Thomas Langworthy.

7. Peter W Haskins was born in about 1814 in New York. Peter marries to Lucinda Newbury. He dies on February 22, 1893 at Hawarden, Sioux, Iowa.

8. William H. Haskin was born on October 16, 1816 at Onondaga, New York. William marries to Mary Winton. He dies on September 20, 1894 at Fennimore, Grant, Wisconsin.
