Biography
Joseph was born about 1784-1786. (See "Return of Inhabitants" for 1802 to 1806 below.) He was the son of Joseph Manley Haskins and Elizabeth Olmstead.
In the 1851 Canada Census, he is living with his wife Lucy Edmunds and one child (sometimes listed as Miriam, Minerva or Rebecca Ruth) in Wolford, Grenville, Ontario. His son Eli is on one side with his family and his son Norman is on the other in the census.[1][2]
He passed away on 24 Jan 1852 and is buried in Wolford Rural Cemetery, Jasper, Leeds and Grenville United Counties, Ontario, Canada. [3]
