Born about 1557 Katharine Hastings was daughter of George Hastings of Gopsall in Leicestershire,[1] and his wife, Dorothy Port.
In 1579 she became the second wife of Sir Edward Unton of Wadley House, Littleworth in Berkshire, [2]son of Edward Unton and his wife, Anne Seymour.[1] No children were born of the marriage. [3] [4]
After Edward's death on 27 June 1589, Katharine married Sir Walter Chetwynd of Ingestre in Staffordshire. [5][1] Again there were no children.[6]
Katherine died 25 May 1638 aged 81 and has a memorial at Ingestre. [6]
