Robert E. Lee HATFIELD was born about 10 August 1857 in Varney, Mingo County, Virginia and died on 22 August 1956 in Matewan, Mingo County, West Virginia.[1] He was the son of James Matison HATFIELD and Nancy Jane FERRELL.
