Hatley-529 and Hartley-1119 appear to represent the same person because: Same name. Hatley vs Hartley is within the variation in spelling in that era. Born exact same day/month/year in same town. Married same spouse (see bio for Hartley). Both had child Jeremiah born 1809 (see bio for Hartley). Both died in 1806 in Penicuik (see bio for Hatley). Other info is complementary. These profiles should be merged. It is proposed that Hartley be used as the final last name with Hatley as an alternate spelling.
